Jul. 28th, 2003 09:03 amAnd yet again we won indoor soccer by anhiliation last night.
8-2, IIRC.
If we're not careful we'll end up going up a grade again... which would be a first for us. Normally they open new grades for us to sink lower into. :-)
Our goalie scored two goals while he was playing in goal. I think that may have demoralised the other team a little. He only scored one when he let
epideme into goal and ran around.
Marcus scored 2, his lowest scoring game so far this season, Kirsten scored 1 and I have no idea who scored the others (
epideme?)
I didn't score, or indeed play more than five minutes, due to reactivating a calf muscle injury, which is going to make netball very interesting tonight. It would be the night we don't have any subs. *sigh* The current, probably extremely stupid, plan is to run through the potential pain. We'll see I suppose.
But hey, we're winning! Consecutive games even! Wow! :-)

Date: 2003-07-27 07:39 pm (UTC)From my point of View, Kirsten's was the best as she craftily stood on the other side of the wall and my free kick pass to her was inch perfect. Otherwise I had a fairly average game, scoring none and having a hand in both the goals against us.
Not only consecutive games, but we've won every game since the first game of the season (which we drew). It's good to be winning games by the same margin that we used to lose.
Good luck with the netball!

Date: 2003-07-27 08:32 pm (UTC)We had some bloody good passing and defence going, even if Chris was giving me a heart attack from the sidelines by running halfway up the court every now and then.
Marcus' tally (in the car on the way home) was two and one set up, I wasn't paying attention. If I'm still out next week I'll keep a total of who scored what. :-)
Actually I think Fraser got one, I'd forgotten. And Ruth may have been the other one.
