That nipple decoration looks really uncomfortable to wear. Especially under clothing.

It's a breast. So what? I've got two of them.

I'm so not wearing one of those sunburst things though, that looks really uncomfortable.

That whole incident was just sooo staged. Even a seasoned performer like Janet would have reacted with some shock if it wasn't staged, unless she routinely goes around with her right breast uncovered.

I'm with you, though - it is, after all, only a breast. Everybody has two of them (although approximately 50% of the adult population tends to have larger ones than the other 50%). I can't help the fact that some men (and some women) find them to be sexual objects and a turn on. I happen to find the traditional Aussie male beer gut to be a totally indecent object when left exposed, but that doesn't stop men walking around shirtless in summer.

If I thought it wouldn't be totally counter-productive for the issue, I would walk around the streets topless myself on hot summer days, just as my male neighbours choose to do. However, no-one wants to see me topless, bottomless, or in any other state of partial or full nudity. No-one. I mean that. So it's not happening. They would rush laws through parliament to stop me. ;-)

It's debatable. I'm sure he doesn't mind seeing me that way, although I feel certain he would prefer it if I had a body like Janet Jackson's. Should I ever reach such a state in my life, however, I'd like to make it clear that I'm not going to wear any nipple decorations...or outfits that are prone to "wardrobe malfunctions".

Hm, I think you're projecting. I mean, sure Dean would be very happy if I had a body like Shakira's (actually, so would I) but prefer? Nah, he's happy with what he's got. :-)

As to "wardrobe malfunctions"? Well if you're going to let some 21 year old rip your clothes off...um, actually I'd probably better stop there. ;-)

It's wasn't a wardrobe malfunction at all, is my point. Clothing like that, even when it is intended as a stage costume, is generally very sturdily constructed for precisely the reason that you DON'T want your diva to lose some part of her clothes on stage and inadvertently expose herself. Costume designers/makers get sacked for that kind of thing happening in a live performance. Has that costume maker been sacked? Well, if so, I haven't heard about it.

Yeah if you come to Melbourne and we go to Portsea back beach... :-)

Having said that I will admit that the last time I went topless bathing was actually in Scandinavia. Here I usually wear one pieces, not least because of the surf. As in, I'm usually in fairly strong surf, and it's just easier. If I'm in a pool, I'm usually swimming laps and I prefer one pieces for that too.

Actually, no, I'd forgotten that party in Sth Yarra with the spa. OK, I think the last time I went topless bathing was there. But I've forgotten what year that was. And I'm reasonably certain there are no photos of it on the internet, not that I've looked. Who knows, maybe there are. I certainly wouldn't put it past the guy whose party it was. But hey, I look different now. Older, for starters. ;-)
